The certificate depends on where you work and who you work for, not on your job title. Here is the short route to the right one.
The workplace and the operator decide the certificate. Two people with the same job title can need different certificates if they work on different shelves.
| If you are working... | You need | Price |
|---|---|---|
| on the UK continental shelf | OEUK Medical | DKK 1,580 |
| on the Norwegian shelf | Norwegian Health Certificate | DKK 1,580 |
| in or on wind turbines | Wind Medical (EI 3583) | DKK 1,875 |
| in turbines, with a fitness requirement | GWO Wind OEUK with Chester Step Test | DKK 2,330 |
| on board a Danish vessel | Seafarer medical certificate (STCW) | DKK 1,035 |
| in Swedish masts above 13 m | Mast & Pole Certificate | DKK 3,125 |

Not always. According to the County Governor of Rogaland, a British health certificate (OEUK) is also accepted for offshore work in Norway. But each operator can have its own requirements, so ask your employer which certificate they want.
No, it comes on top. Most people need both the industry certificate and the company's own.
It is stated in the contract or mobilisation letter. If in doubt, your contact at the operator or staffing agency can answer it.
Yes, and we recommend it while you are here. Mention it when booking so we set aside enough time.
