The wind industry has its own requirements, and they are not the same as oil and gas. Here is what you need, what it costs, and what operators typically ask for.
The standard certificate for work in and on turbines is the Wind Medical (EI 3583) at DKK 1,875 incl. VAT. It assesses whether you can work at height, manage self-rescue and evacuation, and whether your health supports the work.

Most operators also require a passed Chester Step Test at DKK 750. It is a submaximal fitness test where you step in time with an audio signal at increasing pace.
If you need an OEUK Medical and a Chester Step Test, you can take both in one visit of about an hour with GWO Wind OEUK with Chester Step Test at DKK 2,330.
Own protocol with more tests than the standard. DKK 4,688.
Swedish MKA certificate for climbing above 13 metres. DKK 3,125.
Requirements vary from operator to operator. Check your mobilisation letter for which certificate is required.
The company certificate comes on top of the ordinary one, it does not replace it.

It depends on the training provider. Many also require the Chester Step Test. Check the entry requirements with your training provider.
Not as a replacement. The wind industry uses the EI 3583 certificate. If you work in both oil and gas and wind, you need both.
It is submaximal and stops before you are fully exhausted. Most people with normal fitness complete it without difficulty.
You still get your Wind Medical if it is in order. We review the result and advise on retaking the test after a period of training.
